Annual General Meeting – Postponed

Annual General Meeting – Postponed

Our Annual General Meeting is postponed indefinitely.   It was scheduled for Wednesday 14 October.   We would hope to hold an AGM early in the New Year.

We regret having to take this decision, but have done so based on the current COVID 19 recommendations on social distancing.  These make it hard to find a local venue with adequate space for the 30 to 40 people who normally come to the AGM to be seated far enough apart.  We are also aware of the current restrictions for public events, particularly music and singing, which would restrict our potential programme for 2021.    We also realise that some of our regular audience may continue to be anxious about attending public events, and that may make our 2021 Festival financially unviable.  The continued uncertainty about how and when the COVID regulations will change make it difficult to plan our 2021 Festival at the moment.

So, we considered it best to wait until the situation is clearer.   Then we can hold an AGM where we can discuss our plans for the coming Festival.

If you have any questions about our AGM, please contact our Secretary [secretary@roselandfestival.co.uk].
